4 TIPS TO HELP YOU HAVE YOUR CHOCOLATE AND EAT IT TOO THIS EASTER

With Easter literally around the corner, here are a few tips to take with you this weekend and help you not over do it with the chocolate bunnies!

  1. Don’t over snack - yes it is Easter and what a great excuse for eating chocolate and yummy food, especially if you have kids! But over snacking on chocolate won’t be good for your waistline and will leave you feeling guilty over the weekend. Monitor what you eat and allow yourself chocolate as a treat over each day to avoid over snacking. (the darker the chocolate the better!)
  2. Shop right - if you are doing the easter shop this Thursday night don’t be tempted by all the colourful easter eggs and chocolate packs that will be for sale! Stick to the darker chocolate and quick tip - the hollow the easter egg the better AND the better quality the chocolate the better it will be for you!
  3. Don’t kick your diet to the side - we aren't saying to not allow yourself a cheat night for the Easter long weekend however don’t completely give up your healthy routine. Allow yourself the time to eat and drink to avoid a whole 4 day blow out. 
  4. Fit in the exercise - it’s always good to keep moving and motivated even on a long weekend. And what better way to burn off the chocolate than kicking the ball with the kids or a walk around the block!
